Mike N with Broken at I Square, 6/2/18

I played an in-store Guitar Center gig years ago where they provided the backline, including the instruments. Same deal with price tags still on things. Even the bass I played.

I think that would make a great video... music store, bustling with low key customers, inquiring about merchandise and such... guy sits down at a kit, starts playing a beat... bassist takes a stool, after snagging a top shelf axe, hammering out a steady thrum of pulse pounding, low notes... and here comes the lead, busting down the 'quiet zone' doors, with his six string band saw, unleashing maximum destruction on who he assumes are unsuspecting clients... of course, in my mind, Drew Carey belts out the lyrics to some half baked cover, but it still sounds good... the song slowly fades out, the musicians gently mooring their respective instruments, as they join the rest of the customers who, interestingly enough, have failed to acknowledge the last 5 minutes of their collective lives was filled with cool, unadulterated awesomeness...

... did I mention there were 'ring girls'... and tigers... shooting flaming corn dogs from their ears... yeah, that's a wrap.
