The American basses are the best. The Japanese are the second best. And the Mexican is the worst quality. in general.

I would keep the bass that speaks to you more. If you have to, blindfold yourself and do a test run on each.
And remember, (this doesn't hold true for Japanese Fenders) -
MIM or MIA, all Fenders are built by Mexicans.
