Mini Rigs of Doom Four

I finally have my own mini rig of doom! It matches the bigger rig of doom (sans one 8x10).

Here is your standard, not-so-great iPhone picture:

Usually iPhone pictures aren't that bad, but I was trying to edit it and screwed it up. I'll get a better picture sooner or later.

Here is the current mini rig of doom (but I have a GK 800rb head instead of the rack):

I think that's slightly out of the mini territory. :D

Ok. Here's my mini rig in progress. In a couple weeks I'll be ordering another Hartke XL210 for a vertical 4x10 setup. I'm also looking at a 4 pound Ibanez Promethean 300 watt head to power them. Around 85 lbs for the lot, one cab in each hand, bass/head/cables/etc. in gig bag on back....one trip in and out for any gig I would possibly be playing! =)

These mini rigs are getting bigger and heavier :rollno::D
To qualify there should be limits on size and weight, would I be right in saying its the amount of `bang per lb/kg` that matters in this thread ;):)

At the beginning of Part 3, Chef posted these criteria:

"This thread is intended to sing the praises of mega-loud, mega transportable killers.
You should be able to schlep your M-RoD (mini-rig-o-doom) into the venue single-handedly, easily, by yourself.

There were standards established a long time ago: to qualify as a mini-rig-of-doom, you should be able to haul all of your gear in one trip, without a cart, as when parking several blocks from a venue or taking public transportation to a gig.

I never thought I'd see the day when I could do a one trip load in on an upright gig and still get the sound I want, but I do it all the time these days :)

Just a reminder of the parameters.............to qualify as a MiniRoD...........

Must be able to CARRY all components (entire rig, including bass) into gig venue, in one trip, using no carts or dolly's!

Does having a cab with built in wheels still count, its technically not a dolly or cart, I hope so as I cant be bothered with carrying it even though it does weigh only 40lbs:D
