I have a Laney RB1 practice amp and for its size that kicks ass but its not a `mini rig of doom` I dont think a small combo counts as a `mini rig of doom`, in my view what should count is a small rig that is powerful enough to cover a wide variety of gig venues yet be very portable, a 100 watt combo amp is not sufficient in a rock band scenario, definitely a separate amp head and cab to qualify as a `rig`, of course this is a very tongue in cheek thread and all comments are the opinion of the poster .![]()
My new Mini rig! I'm very impressed so far.

Hey, Joe, the white cable is a great idea! Actually, my Lull looks more like a cream color compared to the Carvin's blazing white. The Carvin is such a steal. I am really impressed with the built in compressor. There is some great thought put into the pre amp controls and eq. Very hard to get a bad tone.
I remember the Trace comp fairly well. This one is really well voiced but some will find it too squishy I imagine. I like it but keep it turned on very low as it gets crazy squishy real fast.
KJung, your image is not viewable yet - how do you like the Demonique ???
This rig is not quite mini but it's mighty. Note: the mids are severed off pretty well and my heavy gauge round wound stainless steel strings are 2 years old and counting.
I dig the 31 band - kind of elementary but super dummy proof. I sometimes use this graphic in Series or Parallel with the variable loop.
