Call me lazy, even my Genz shuttle 6 12t combo goes on the Kart - even if its just from the living room to the trunk.

+1. Oh okay, lol. Yeah, I also own a cart, but I don't need it for my tiny mini amp of doom.

Maybe not all of them, but the super tiny little GK MB110 kicks @$$ for its weight and size - its a "super mini amp of doom". http://www.talkbass.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=373445&d=1383949795

I have a Laney RB1 practice amp and for its size that kicks ass but its not a `mini rig of doom` I dont think a small combo counts as a `mini rig of doom`, in my view what should count is a small rig that is powerful enough to cover a wide variety of gig venues yet be very portable, a 100 watt combo amp is not sufficient in a rock band scenario, definitely a separate amp head and cab to qualify as a `rig`, of course this is a very tongue in cheek thread and all comments are the opinion of the poster . :hiding::D

Hmm. Okay, but both my little GK MB115 and MB110 combos do that - maybe you just need better musicians, like a drummer with good dynamic control. Just saying. ;)

Guitards with smaller amps would be good, one guitard who we auditioned turned up with a large Marshall valve head and a 4x12, we dont play anything bigger than pubs and small clubs, I used to be the guitarist and managed with a Laney LC30 !

Perhaps you could start a new thread called `mini combos of doom` as a rig is a head and separate speaker cab in my understanding :)
