Mini Rigs of Doom Four

No, Brent I still have the BBE. The VT pre is fantastic. Great old school tone. Using it in a prog rock band I'm in, Green Star Relief Station. This photo was taken at a recent recording session and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out.

I still use the BBE in my Country band and other gigs where the SVT type overdrive isn't needed. It's a great pre as well!
Nice! I'm a huge fan of prog rock!
Take care,
Brent

Yep, I can do this in one trip.
Bass in my Mono Vertigo, pedalboard in Mono Tick strapped to case, Mesa D800 in its carry bag, and I strap the stand to the Vertigo with one of straps that came with the Nano case that I don't use.
Vertigo case on my back, F210 in one hand, Head case in the other
Truly a tiny beast :thumbsup::bassist:

I've been loving my mrod variety lately.

I can pull off either the berg CN 1x12 or 2x12 as a one trip load in, with the Glock blue soul in its bag over a shoulder, cab in one or two hands, and bass or basses on my back with an igig bag or a mono double bass bag(with tic). It's most fun when i get to bring it all, along with the pedal board, but often times the one trip load in is too tempting to pass up.

Thinking about adding another micro to the mix for gig bag consolidating once I love to Chicago this summer. Now the question is GK or Puma...

Time for me to update my MRD.

I posted a thread about the somewhat backwards way that I morphed into this iteration:
The Unintended Micro

Here is a shot of the rig:
MRD for Web.JPG

This iteration consists of: Sadowsky Outboard Preamp / Demeter Minnie 800D / Bergantino HD112.

I should perhaps refer to this version as the Minnie Rig of Doom. LOL:bassist:

Tell you what; this little rig kicks like an angry mule. BAM. I may try this at my next Sports Bar gig with the loud drummer. I think it can handle it.

What's on the top right of the Minnie?
Great looking MROD by the way!

BTW any recommendations on a carrying bag for this? so i can put the amp and cab in there and just carry it with one hand or via a strap.

I bought the Invalid Link Removed, it's great because you can just unzip the ends without taking it out, and it has a strap so you can just throw it over your shoulder. I usually put the amp in a big duffel bag with other stuff, and it protects it against scratches and dents.

Shuttle 6.0 thru avatar neo 210 with REDDI to FOH & iem to me

I'm all about mini rigs of doom; particularly when I know FOH & soundman are able to do heavy lifting for me. I think outside 4th gig tomorrow may be a big rig night though. :)
