Zapp, the 15 is part of the MBE series, right (32 lbs.)? My GK 12 is from their Micro Bass series. Only 16 lbs. Add that to the 9.5 lbs for the power amp and the <1 lb. pedal, and it's pretty easy to take anywhere. Amp, pedal, cables, adapters, iPad, etc. all go into a laptop case.

1. Why do you run the combo on its side?
2. How did you attach the pedal and outlet strip to the back?

I'll let him confirm, but my guesses are:
1. So he can access the controls on both, since they weren't designed to be stacked, the controls on the bottom amp would be covered, and the handle might also interfere with stacking as well as input cables.

my new custom mrod. it's the box on top. Singlemalt built me a clone of the Mojo Sonic on the bottom and a clone of the Mojo in combo format. The slot accomodates either my mb2-500 or mb200 GK head.
i'll be carrying the little combo alone to the vast majority of gigs I do. I can't lean on the B real hard with the bass EQ'd up of corse but given I'm mostly a 4 stringer, not a limitation for me.
driver is a deltalite 2510-II. weight is well under 30. Still need to finish the inside chamber in flat black. That and real not cell phone pics.

It's wider on the side, and so, more stable than stacking right-side up. I also think it sounds better with the horizontal ports on the bottom raised off the floor. Setting them sideways does the same thing, but I don't need a milk crate.
Velcro Sticky Back tape, just the hook side. The cab is covered in Velcro loop fabric. But the fabric is not adhered to the side of the cab, so anything I stick to it needs to be near the edge, or it flops around a bit.
They are designed to be stacked, and the tweeter control for the bottom cab is on the side, so if I did stack them right-side-up, all controls would be reachable. But I don't use the tweeter attenuator. And as I said, I think the bottom cab sounds better, less boomy, with the port not directly on the floor. Putting the stack on a milk crate does the same thing, but stacking sideways is easier.
I must be missing something. It looks to me as if the controls on the top would be unreachable on the bottom combo with the top combo covering them up? Also, it'd be pretty hard to plug a cable in there, too, right?

Clever you, Billy! The cab is in fact made by Tube Town. It's a sealed rear loaded construction, just like a guitar cab, only deeper. Had it built for a 12" driver that had been sitting on the shelf for a while. Sounds good for my purposes.
Rig with Crate SPA100 swapped out for a recently acquired Flying Mole DAD-M100proBB.VFE Rocket EQ pedal (as preamp/EQ); Crate SPA100 mono power amp; Gallien-Krueger 112MBX. Great for restaurants, cocktail hours, etc.
Crate is 10.5"Wx1.75"Hx11.5"D at almost 10lbs.
Flying Mole is 5.25"Wx1.75"Hx9.5"D at less than 1.5lbs.
Crate puts out 100 watts @ 4 ohms; 75 @ 8 ohms.
Flying Mole puts out 160 watts @ 4 ohms; 100 @ 8 ohms.
VFE Rocket EQ still serves as preamp.
