Mini Rigs of Doom Four

Its a PF-500. Cab is a Art of Noise fEARful 15/6. Its a one hand carry even for my girl.

I usually just run one of the Ampeg SVT210AV cabs (more than enough with PA support)...but will on occassion bust out its twin.

What year ES-335 is that?
I think most folks would find that a nice flat PA cabinet does not a good bass rig make. I tried that route before.
A bass rig is for bass frequencies, but with articulation in the mids. A PA cab is usually designed with maximum itelligibility of the male voice (as are most microphones actually). Which is not the same range as a bass. It only needs to go down to 70hz or so, and it's articulation is in the 3k-4k area.

I got lucky since last posting and picked up for dirt cheap an 'as new' GK MBX 115. Now, even though fairly light, it is a large envelope cab with horn, and I am impressed with how efficient it is. At some point it will be a great trader as it makes that terrific add-on cab for a larger venue.
The quality of build and sound of this cab makes me want to try out the GK neo-III 112's
back to "mini", though, it got me thinking: What is the shortlist of compact-envelope 15's?? could some of you more experienced guys give me a few suggestions?

I'm having great results with a Peavey IPR-1600. Power to weight to cost ratio is hard to argue with. It's been very reliable and drives my Bergantino AE-112's just right. I'm using an Eden Navigator and have also used the WTDI with no problems.

Does this qualify? Markbass TTE 500 and Markbass NY151RJ. Head is 13lbs, cab is 37lbs. Sorry for the poor pic quality.
I'm considering adding another 151RJ cab for a nice stack, but 95% of my gigs wouldn't require it, as this rig is plenty loud. VERY easy on the aging back, and doom for days...it even gets doom-ier with the EUB when needed.

Here's my latest mini rig of doom, a Greenboy/BarryAudio Crazy8/Crazy88 stack. The fact that the 5 lb AI Clarus barely fits on top solidifies its "mini-ness":

Sometimes I have a hard time imagining how some of you guys can carry 2 2x12cabs, amp, and bass all in one trip, let alone on buses or taxis. You must either be very strong or else I'm a weakling. I can manage to throw my GK 2x10 over my shoulder and walk a few meters but that is pretty much it.

I love this rig. I have a second TC112 on order from Audiokinesis which will make this rig a bit less mini, but still lightweight. The Walkabout's 300 watts into this 4ohm cab is appropriate for most small bar gigs without PA support. A second TC112 will make a nice vertical stack that will be useful in larger gig situations. The Walkabout will produce ~500 watts @ 2ohms.
