What's the definition of a mini-rig? At what point is it too big to be called mini?
Yeah some of the images posted on this thread are not mini/micro rigs. A small cab with a standard sized amp does not qualify.
True, but I am willing to give "honorable mention" to anyone who significantly downsizes. Like if you go from a 200lb rig to a 100lb rig, that could be "mini" for you (relatively speaking).
And that includes your bass. The traditional definition of a "mini rig" is "you can easily carry it, in one trip."
I understand what you say but the term has to be defined properly rather than it being just an opinion.
And that includes your bass.

Are casters allowed? If so, this qualifies:

Basses in gig bag on my shoulders, amp/cable bag in one hand, other hand dragging the half-fridge - one-trip load-in!![]()
I would say no that does not qualify.........The Amp yes, but the Cab definetley not.
True, but it’s not a contest.I understand what you say but the term has to be defined properly rather than it being just an opinion.
VERY nice bass! Tell us more! Are casters allowed? If so, this qualifies:

I was wondering because if I use a rig (as opposed to just being plugged into the board) I have two svt210av's, and an ampeg pf500. I think if I just use one of the cabs, then it's a mini-rig, but if I stack them, then it's not.
