i did think it was following me around the room one night, watching me, mocking.

Well then hence forth...."Doomed" mini rig instead of mini rig of doom!

Yeah, I prefer it to the Auralex because you can just tilt back the cab and shove the Ampwedge underneath, plus you can vary it with the stepped system it has. Does a good job isolating the sound, although I've never used a Grammaw Pad which I imagine works better in that regard since it complete separates the cab from the floor.

The 'wedge was cheaper and is easier to use though.

Sorry, I'm a bit excited... LDS called and said my 1x12" is nearly complete. Just gotta attach the things for the hand cart and wait for my money order to arrive before they ship it. They have a pic up on their site already though.

That's cool. I can see using it if I'm using just one cab. The Aurelex would work better for me with my stack. Nice.
