MLB 2018

Wow, 36 games behind the 2nd Wild Card. No team in the NL is more than 19 back. The AL has the 5 best records and the 3 worst.
Doesn't help that they are in the same division with a team on Pace to set a new record for wins...

Well, gosh. Just as I had given up on the Mariners, they sweep the Astros. 2-1/2 behind the As for the wild card, but only 4 back of the Astros now. Maybe I gave up too soon. I sure hope so.
I keep reminding myself it’s only August. 40 something games left. The Dodgers lose Jansen and dump 4 in a row. Fingers crossed they right the ship tonight and against your M’s this weekend!

On to the 9th!

Sox are on a roll for sure.

But remember.....

It was only a few years ago that my Sox were 10 games up on 2nd place September 1st and did NOT MAKE THE PLAYOFFS. So, while nobody rides a wave like the Sox, nobody crashes like them either.

Being a Sox fan is a roller coaster ride for sure.

They are the Freakin’ Bomb.

I’m not a betting man...but if I was, my farm would be on the Saux...

(over the Braves, in extra innings, in Game 7...)

Both the Phils and the Braves are a year ahead of schedule, at least. No one reasonably expected either to do what they have done. Both were smart not to mortgage the future for 2018. It will be interesting to see how they hold out.

Both the Mets and the Nationals spit the bit this year.
