MLB 2018

Mean while Cora is doing some random stuff that may or may not work

Go Sox!

Man, he has had a crystal ball up his butt all year. Pinch hit Devers out of nowhere and he delivers an RBI.

I mean, the kid is talented. But he was also 5 for his last 23 at bats. How does Cora know these things???

And Cora is young for a head coach too. He'll change the game before it's all over. The Sox would do well to make him a legacy coach.... meaning his whole head coach career is with one team.

He was a player. He's one of them

Why the heck did Roberts pitch to Devers when first base was open?? That's a big mistake number 3, the mistake before that was putting in Kenley Jansen for a two inning save, which is not his role. Why pull a guy who's pitching a one hitter? Last year he was pitching a no-hitter and he got pulled also.

What the hell is Robert's doing? Hill pitched only 80 pitches the whole game and has been great, pulling him just for one batter or because you got one hit on him?? Just another case of over Management from the crappyiest manager in MLB.

It isn’t Roberts. It’s that hole Friedman and his f*****g computer. I for one am sick of it. They are ruining the game I’ve loved for more than 50 years. Last night they pull a guy pitching the game of his life. Tonight they pull Hill who is having a career game. Ridiculous.

And Cora kept Rodriguez in when he was still pitching really well. Two batters later, it was 4-0.

Question for fox viewers...

My new hearing aids go back to the Red Sox/Astros series.
The sound kinda ‘hissy’ to me...I hear plenty of high end.
I’ll report that to the Audiologist when I see her next week.

Re: Baseball...I’m hearing WAY too much crowd noise...that hissing? sound that 55,000 people make when they get together.
I mentioned to my Bride that I was having trouble hearing the announcers over the background roar.
She said ‘I get it...they’re not exactly Up Front in the mix’

I listened to Friday’s and Saturday’s games on the radio, and had no trouble at all hearing the play by play.

(For what it’s worth; they we’ren’t any better than the Bozos on fox.)

Anyone else ‘struggling’ to make out the play by play?

The crowd noise is up for sure. They have commented on how loud Dodgers fans can be several times.

If your TV was made in the last decade or so, you should be able to go into the menu and turn the treble down a little. That should help because they have the commentators mixed pretty boomy. I'm watching/listening with four speakers surround wired in the walls. I turned my sub off because of the boomy voices.

So, yeah, turn your treble down and the voices should stand out more.

And, yes, the crowd is annoyingly loud in the braosdcast... as well as that rattling drum .... thing... someone keeps thwacking.
