Interesting fact I just became aware of. Dodger manager, Dave Roberts, use to play outfield for the Red Sox. Who would have ever thought that he would return to Boston as an opposing manager in the World Series.

Like they said last night, both Dave Roberts and Alex Cora have both played for both teams at some point in their career.

IMO there are too many games in the season across the board.

There are way too many games and spring training is way too long. They need to get the World Series back to the beginning of October. One of these years we will have a WS game snowed out.

They do in Alaska sometimes. And carry weaponry in the outfield to deal with random wildlife that might take an interest in the outfielder as a meal. Or so the rumor goes.

In college we used to have a snow softball tournament every year. First inning plenty of drifts in the infield. By the end, the baselines were a pinball machine.

My grudging respect to the Red Sox. What a great team. The boys in blue have a tough road ahead, but it isn’t over until the lady sings. Hoping the Dodgers turn it around this weekend.

Mine goes off at 4:30 and I am in the office at 6:15. I could use a nap.

At least the start times are staying the same. The ball games that start at 0830 MST are impossible to stay up for.
