MLB 2019

^^^:roflmao::roflmao:

Chronological order has never been my strength.

(I appropriate pics from my Bride’s book of face...the dawg pic for instance. That could be 2 months/years old.)
The part about the D’backs & the Cards, and Gary Clarke, Jr...that’s real.
‘Bout 2,800 miles on the truck n camper, so far.

We’ve earned those tickets...:)

Oh Man! I failed to mention...

Great that you saw it. I caught the final three innings on TV.
Always 'iffy' when Castillo comes in. When he's on, he's terrific; when he's not, horrific. I think Charlie Mo is getting kinda tired-most innings he's ever pitched in a season. Gotta get to the playoffs, but we'll need him there too.

...and so... I am girding my self, my Baseball mind and my Baseball soul, to watch a Baseball game.........indoors.

Tomorrow’s Cards @ D’Backs game is already scheduled to be played with the roof closed.

Game time...12:40p.
Game time Temperature...70f.

The Nice Lady said there is the “threat of rain”.
In fact it Poured here in Sun City last night. The Lightning Show was Spectacular!!!
It went on and On for 3 hours.
I couldn’t close my eyes.

The sky is surely different here in the desert.

So, I read that the Cards’ magic # is 3...the D’Backs still have an o u t s i d e chance at the 2nd wild card spot, while the Cubs have a slightly better shot than the Diamondbacks.

In honor of my good friend Greg, I will be pulling for the Cards...which is Not a hard thing to do.
I don’t remember Ever having met a Cards’ fan I thought was an asshat.

Going back to the subject of playing indoors...

Many generations of Baseball fans could not have been able to Imagine playing a Baseball game after dark...and that’s a fact.

You could look it up! ;)

Too bad you didn't go to last nights game. It only took 7 hours and 19 innings!

/go Cards!

It's too bad the Nationals let Bryce Harper go. :)

-Mike

No one, least of all Washington, is saying Harper isn't a good player. It's whether he is worth the asking price. I think in the end, Harper's contract will be a problem, just like a few years ago with Ryan Howard (or with Seattle and Cano).

A few years ago, the Mets let Daniel Murphy go. It wasn't that they didn't want him. But Washington was willing to significantly overpay, based upon one good season. That may have played into the Harper decision.
