MLB 2019

No Dodger hate here.

That would mean ‘Baseball Hate’, and I don’t ever remember being in that space.

I remember ‘Baseball Indifference’...1970 through 1977...

...but I was indifferent to Absolutely Everything from 1970 through 1977... :poop:
I don't hate the Dodgers, just sorta don't care since they moved to L.A. I was a Brooklyn Dodger fan. Yeah, I'm that old.:nailbiting::help:

I've lived in DC since 2004 and like the Nats, but I grew up in LA watching the Dodgers (Garvey-Lopes-Russell-Cey). What time do I have to declare who I'm rooting for in tonight's game?
Oh, now would be good. Go Nats!

As a Mariners fan, I always have to root for the most improbable winner.

Well, that was pretty damn sad. Cards and ? for the NLCS.
Well, it’ll be the Nats. I’m absolutely sick. Worst fold since the Mariners. And by Kendrick. A former Dodger. Who should still be there. I’m so done with Roberts. I hope he’s gone. We need a manager, not a front office puppet. Absolutely ridiculous. I can’t believe another year goes by without a WS win. It’s been 31 freaking years.

Congrats to the Nats and their fans. Well deserved. I’ll be rooting for ya.

We need one more David slays Goliath game...However, kudos to Nats skipper Davey Martinez for having faith in leaving Howie Kendrick in the line-up for his bat instead of his glove.

How about congratulations in spite of yourself? When they didn't pinch hit for the starting pitcher in the fifth with two on base, and they didn't score, I figured they had blown it.

Sad to see two former Red Sox heroes (and personable standup guys) - Dave Roberts and Joe Kelly - end the Dodgers season. I missed the game - was this as bad as Grady Little leaving in an obviously gassed Pedro Martinez back in 2003?

No. Kershaw came in and struck out the batter on the pitches to end the inning. You had to assume he had another inning in him. It's not like bringing in a reliever on a third consecutive day.
