It saddens me that you haven't hit us with M's trade updates! No deals from Jerry yet. I'm impatient. It's unusual for a Mariners fan to be impatient. We are usually just relegated to patience and endurance.

Whoa whoa whoa. The line on crappy owners is long and indiscriminately bad. Get behind the Rockies fans. And ex fans….I gotta ask, how can anyone still be an A's fan when the owner CLEARLY is pocketing the cash with no intention of fielding a championship caliber team. I just don't see how the MLB allows him to continue to own the franchise. It's a fire sale again. 5 year cycle... 5 years of "pretty good to good" and then 5 years of cellar dwellers. I'm not even an A's fan and I'm mad.

Actually, that's a great haul of players. The fact is, small market teams can't contend every year. They have to hope what they are building works, and gives them a few years to contend (and spend more then), like the Royals. The Ray's contend almost every year with one of the lowest payrolls in baseball.
Just saw the deal with the Reds in tha paper this morning. My wife's car had an issue that took a while to solve last night so I wasn't paying attention. Maybe paying less attention is the key to success? I didn't see it coming with the Reds at all. Williamson is a prospect that hurts a bit to give up, but Saurez and Winker seem like they are worth it. I was hoping Dunn would pan out this season. What he does isn't a concern any more. Fraley won't be missed based on his injuries and ongoing lack of a batting average. It saddens me that you haven't hit us with M's trade updates!

Sorry to hear about the carJust saw the deal with the Reds in tha paper this morning. My wife's car had an issue that took a while to solve last night so I wasn't paying attention. The main concern is which Saurez the Mariners got. Early last season or late last season? If there are people on base, he ought to be as effective as Segar was, so there is that.
And the Mariners will be I first place with a perfect record until the season starts. Maybe even a few days longer than that this season. Mariners fans didn't expect much last season. We are set up to be crushed this season. I will take it, because it is fun while it lasts and it might really be a good season.Sorry to hear about the car
I'd be nice to see the M's make the post season. They were so close last year, and I hate the Houston ball club.
Based on the early reports though, there's a 10/10 chance they will make it out of preseason into the regular season. So that's something to look forward to![]()
