Bryan Reynolds isn't happy in Pittsburgh. The Yankees reportedly want him. I would like to see him in a Mariners uniform. Getting him would be costly, but he would be a big upgrade from Kelenic or Trammell. As much as I like both of those guys' potential, they haven't shown it in the big leagues just yet.

I think the Ms got the best of that deal. The Brewers are going to get them to change their launch angle and try to hit the 6-run home run in every count and every situation. I don't know why they do it, but it's been consistent the last few years.

I hope Wong does well in Seattle. I liked him, even when he was with the Cardinals. Hopefully he can get his defense back to GG standards.

I would agree here. The Astros were running 7 deep in starters at one point this past season and they are likely going in 6 deep with Hunter Brown now. The Astros have not been about overpaying for legacy talent for a while now, so either they trust what’s in their system now or they will find a cheaper but effective option.

I have to wonder what the Yankees will do if Judge decides to sing elsewhere. They'll have to spend money like a sailor on shore leave to have any chance of making the playoffs.

Oof. Bogey leaving hurts. That leaves only JD Martinez and Chris Sale from the World Series team. And Sale is only "kinda" back anyway. Too many injuries.

I understand players move around. But for hardly ANY of the roster from only a few short years ago to be on the 2023 team almost makes we want to get back to just watching baseball as a fan of the game rather than following any particular team.

The Yankees don't seem to care much about a bad tail end of a contract. They seem to do that on a regular basis and it works out for them. When the Mets do it, it doesn't. The Mariners kinda did it with Cano and Cruz, but got out from under it eventually.

One would think. If I was offered a job with even a small percentage (less than 1%) of that, I would pick a local where I was happy and my family was comfortable, yet almost every FA almost every year goes for the top $$$ offer, and change locals like I change shirts...

Judge was never going anywhere. Any rumors of him leaving the yankees were meaningless.

I think the Mets over paid a bit, but I am VERY happy they finally locked down Nimmo. He's not an all-star, but he is a locker room presence that can not be easily replaced.
