As usual, i jumped into a sport in the playoffs and and the team that I am cheering for manages to lose, even when things are going their way. A nice 30 year curse for Halloween. I enjoyed watching it though. Definitely watching the next game. Unless tickets to my local Rush concert appear in the morning, lol.

So, it all sets up for Game Seven! As a big baseball fan who has no dog in the fight, I'm just loving the good baseball and the back and forth of it all. The Jays are just so gritty and determined. The Dodgers have so much talent. And we have baseball in November. Reminds me so much of the wonderful Wednesday night in November, 2016 when the Cubs finally won in Game Seven in Cleveland in 10 innings.
That bottom of the 9th had so much last night! I can't criticize Barger for getting caught off 2nd to end the game...he's the tying run and he was so hoping to get a jump and score. Kike made a very heads up play, throwing off the wrong foot to 2nd. Rojas made an awesome dig of that throw in the dirt, while keeping his foot on the bag. And, boom, it's on to game 7.
Othani will surely start for the Dodgers, despite the equivocation by Dave Roberts post-game. And the Jays will play big too.
A great ending to a fun season.

I wish Ernie had taken a pitch or two from Glasnow instead of swinging at the first one. But Ernie is a free swinger and likes to ambush first pitch fastballs. It often works well for him. That pitch was too high though. Gimenez did well to get a ball in play. If only it had dropped. Good work in LF. I like that Barger was being aggressive trying to advance to 3B. But he perhaps should have watched for the ball to land first. Ah well. These Blue Jays always bounce back when people think they can’t. Why not one more time!? Win tonight boys.
It's up there for me. But the best I can recall would be Braves/Twins in '91. Five one-run games, three went to extras. I was rooting for Atlanta, but I couldn't begrudge the Twins for winning.
Tense yes. Fun? Depends on who you ask
