The last ~2 weeks in Blue Jays-land...
- 3-4 on a road trip to Baltimore and Atlanta; I was pretty OK with that result
- 2-1 series win at home against Baltimore again; 5-5 over the 10-game stretch, at least they're treading water
- Two straight 2-1 series losses at home to Philly and New York Yanks; not good...

They are still kinda/sorta treading water. It's early to be looking at the Wild Card standings, but because the rest of the AL is rather mid so far this summer, the Jays are only 1.5 games back of a WC spot. It's about time to get hot and go on a little winning streak! Please???

They start a road trip tomorrow. Boston and then Chicago (Cubs).

Lots of afternoon baseball for me to enjoy over the next few days, which I'm a big fan of. It's an early start in Boston today for getaway day, and then the weekend series in Chicago is all day games.

Interestingly, the Royals and Phillies are at home but not playing today, a June Saturday, due to World Cup matches in adjoining stadia in their respective cities. Too many people in one place.
