Don’t mention Godfather 3.
when I rolled up to my hells angels gig we were all totally unaware it was for them. great gig but really spooked us when we pulled upMost of the times those type of events are fine, and sometimes even better than normal events. I remember playing a Hell's Angels party once and everyone was super nice, respectful, and grateful for our services. I'd do it again in a heartbeat
You might not if you read Tommy James' book about Roulette Records.Personally I liked when the mob ran the music business over the corporations of the last 30 years. I’m not kidding.
No such movie even exists, you understand?
the concrete sneakers. . .

Hi Funky Ghost
The new dress code for mobster dad bands!
Wise(b)ass
Been through one of those back in the 70's. The daughter of the local restaurant and bartenders union president. 14 peice band with Al Martino plus a quartet flown over from Sically. My music career was dormant at the time but I managed the place where it was held. A bit stressful for a kid in his late 20's. A great story but too long for here.Oh man I just found out this weekends gig is for a mobsters kid!!! like legit Chicago mafia wedding at a mafia hotel. holly hell Im going to keep my mouth shut!
You and I have very different definitions of "great" but I share your viewpoint about playing those songs.wagon wheel is a great tune
Any tune that instantly gets an entire venue to dance like mad is a great tune. the audience is never wrong. You and I have very different definitions of "great" but I share your viewpoint about playing those songs.
