Mob wedding?!?!?!

Hi jnuts1 :)

he also wanted to play drums on 2 songs and we said sure. he did very well except the disco beat thing he had on gimmie shelter. but after 4 run-throughs he was fine.

That' s cool!

I love to play gigs with the clients on stage! It' s always fun!

No matter how good (or bad) they are!

The audience (family) will love it.

Have fun!

P.S. when the "kid" joins you on stage, better don' t tell him: " Hey, break a leg"

we did a wedding last month and one of the grooms man is one half of our drummer/perc. combo. they both play drums and they switch mid song and such. the family lost their collective minds.

Oh man I just found out this weekends gig is for a mobsters kid!!! like legit Chicago mafia wedding at a mafia hotel. holly hell Im going to keep my mouth shut!

I used to play for one here. It was a nice little bar he had bought for his wife. Sometimes late at night he would bring his "associates" in before we stopped playing, lock the doors, and have us play just for them for several hours... You could actually catch a glimps of pistols under their jackets, just like something you'd see in a movie. We would be tired and ready to leave , but were we going to refuse? LOL!

Actually nice folks, I'm sure as long as you were on their good side. A fun gig... decent hours, except for a few occasions, for which they tipped us well.
