You will be dealing mostly with nice people. I am not directly connected but I know people from this town who are or were (some have passed). I've heard all sorts of stories, the kind of stuff you could put in books or "mob" movies.

These "guys" are some of the nicest ppl you will ever meet.Very family orientated. Just don't start asking a lot or any questions about the "family" business and you will be fine.Also Don't stare at any group of men that has an older gent in the group EVER just glaze past them to something else.Keep to yourself be cordial smile at no one in particular especially the women. Play your heart out and have fun.
