Modulus Mob

For the love of Carbon Fiber and for my friends in Nor Cal that are going through a lot.
Lets Keep Mob going on a positive note instead of negative one.

I appreciate the Moduli that I have.

Thanks in advance

I bought my Modulus brand new in March, and got in May. But I first got the lifetime warranty a few days ago, and it says that I have to send it to back to Modulus before 10 days after I bought it! And it's about 2 months ago since I bought it!
Will they still take it or is it way to late?

And is it even worth to try to send it to them, after nobody has gotten any response from them for a long time?

You'll have to give Modulus a call..but last I heard the phones and email were disconnected. Give it a try though.

My Q6

Is that a Lull also? Nice!

My 2 basses are a Lull M5 and a Modulus Q5. I was packing up for my gig yesterday and went for the Lull since it hasn't seen much action lately. Then I thought: hmmmm... outdoor gig, 90 degree heat, 77% humidity...sorry Lull, THIS is a gig for the Q5!

I thought the same Mike. 5 gigs this week (Monday, 2 on Thursday, then Friday and last night), used the Lull on my 12:00 4th gig, then the heat got worse in the afternoon so I grabbed my Q5 and it performed like a champ!

The bummer was getting it all sweaty :hmm:

I did try the baby powder on my fretting hand (left) to help minimize the "sticky fingers" effect from outdoor, humid gigs on Cape Cod. It worked a little.... Hope y'all had a nice weekend, I certainly did but after all the gigs, I am psyched to hang out with the family today.

Never tried the baby powder thing, but after the gig last night, I'm seriously considering doing to satin finish on the neck. It WAS a bummer to get the Q5 all sweaty, but I think it kinda liked it! :D

BTW, 5 gigs, WOW! You are a beast!

LOL! - I thought things had been a little quiet here on the mob and finally took a look at the old thread to see it had been closed. :D

I'm in. My modulus is not going anywhere, I actually just had the neck refinished to satin.

Exactly why I had the neck refinished in satin, cost about a buck and a quarter + shipping back and forth, but well worth it IMHO.

You were actually the impetus for that thought, we had talked a while ago about it, and I didn't really think I needed it until the gig that night. You also encouraged me on the tuners, which worked out really well. Thanks for the help modding my Mod!

I actually just saw an older Modulus 4 banger in the classifieds and thought of you, did you see it?

Couldn't you just have a tech take off the gloss with some fine grit sandpaper? Been thinking about doing that to my VJ. Also, I just got a Babicz bridge and new pups. I noticed you took that stupid logo off of yours. I'd love to do that to mine, however it is chrome though. Suggestions?
