Modulus Mob

Always thought he was using Ken Smith Slicks. The purple silk is a huge hint, unless Ritter has the same. Very interesting to know the strings have changed (at least some). I totally had the impression that Mike had found "them" and never strayed.

Shows what I know!

What DI are you referring to, Edwin?

They are definitely Ken Smith Slick Rounds (medium). Avalon U5 DI.

Funny thing is that I checked out the sellers profile and found he was a sensei in Georgia....saw his face, name, and that he used to be a Modulus dealer....and then it hit me....I traded a Fender Hwy 1 P bass plus some cash to him for a NICE 4 string Modulus Fretless a few years ago...but that was a Craigslist deal...we met halfway. That bass was very nice.

Hey guys,
I have one question about cleaning the neck:
Does your Phenolic fingerboard get this texture after cleaning it with a cloth and water, that is a little hot?

Or, is it just me that uses the wrong method?

Yes I know that I have brought this up earlier on the third mob, but I couldn't really believe that some of you guys use WD-40. If I am right, that's some stuff you use to remove stain with, of your bicycle for example??

Thanks!

That's what I was told to use when I contacted Modulus (that's been some time ago). Never had any kind of adverse reaction to it but I can't say that I really get any on me to begin with. I use a toothbrush and/or microfiber cloth and it works just fine.
