That would be a sweet set up. Now you just need a push/pull pot that has a 5-way toggle to select which pickups to use - do they even make those? :rolfmao:

I would think 3 mini switches to turn each pickup on or off. Make the balance for front two or back two with center detent all three and maybe a push/pull volume to allow a passive bypass.

It was indeed, I put my bass up, specifically to buy that bass. I'm surprised it worked out

Me too!! Update on my Q5 that is actually a butcher Sweet Spot that isn't black, it's silver burst... Had to replace the nut (was replaced by whomever set the pickups) and the G side was nearly off the fretboard. Had the frets crowned, leveled and milled so that there is now only .003 relief in the neck. He reset the neck to the proper angle since the new route had caused it to dip causing the crack in the finish from the neck pocket to the new pick up route.
So $200 later, this bass is now amazing to play. Action is super low (how I like it) smooth and comfy feeling. Picked it up last night and am looking forward to hitting the stage for 3-1/2 hours tonight to give her a run!! I am really very excited about it..

Excellent! Glad it's working out for you. I know how it can be to be expecting one thing when you order it and then you open the box to find something completely unexpected.
