I sold my Modulus neckthru for $1300....and it was 1 of 4 or 5 according to Modulus...it was an '89.
Yeah but, this one is "Beyond Rare!!!" 
I really wish people would stop using "Rare" in ad titles. Is the word rare supposed to cause some emotional and chemical reaction that will make people hit the bid or buy button? If so, I better start using it more.

I have an issue with the word 'minty'.
From now on I shall only say increasingly difficult to procure and refreshing.
Even if it is original, that is a hefty chunk of change for a 'vintage' instrument.

Oh yeah, 1993 is definitely an original TBX.
The dead giveaway if you don't know the year is that the reissues have the "Modulus" name written on the body between the end of the fingerboard & the neck pickup; the originals only had the name on the headstock.
I don't know about that serial number either. The stamp looks like a 98 or 96, the paperwork says 92.. Weren't the first TBX's in the early 80's??
If I am not mistaken, this bass sold on TB within the last couple of years for $2500 or so.
