I have never seen an early 80s Modulus that actually had that headstock. I thought they were all BassStars at that point?

Yeah, judging from the logo and the KLD finish layer, it's probably a 1992 model neck, not an '82.I have never seen an early 80s Modulus that actually had that headstock. I thought they were all BassStars at that point?
I must have gotten lucky. I bought my VJ neck directly from Anderson back in 1999.. I didn't know any better and just called them directly. However, I wonder if it was just because I was buying a neck only that they sold it to me direct.
Followed this thread forever, but never posted. For your consideration wanted to share the upgrades I've made to my q5. Always had a love hate relationship with the emg pickups and electronics that came stock with it, and last week I had finally had enough. Installed a matched set of lane poors and audere 4 band classic preamp. Totally blown away. So warm, but so aggressive, couldn't be happier. Has anyone else had any experience with auderes in a modulus?
I just got a nice used Q6 off EBAY
looks mighty familiar....
(i sold it to you)
I'm still looking for that early 90s TBX6. Oh where oh where might you be?
