Good question.. The truss rods on my Genesis' and my VJ both work right away and adjust quickly. I do not have any Moduli with the full graphite neck that have a truss rod.

I know, I have looked at that thread but I have just noticed that there were different statements regarding which direction to turn the key. One said counter-clockwise, the other said to the right... I'm looking for more relief.
Cool, I found the neutral but I have turned like crazy but it doesn't go away. I've also raised the action all the way.
That's the thing, I use GHS Flea Boomers (soon changing to DR's). The old strings were, uhm... old ;-)
When these strings get old the E-string gets muddy. Therefor I had lowered the action to get more clarity. When the new strings got on, it sounded very metallic. Raised the action again (but this time as high as possible), but a lot of string buzzing was going on. I hadn't adjusted the Truss rod or anything else before. I had to add the most (or at least very much) amount of relief for it to be bearable. String gauge: 45-105. I don't know what the heck is going on, but I bet that this isn't normal!
The truss rod felt just as described in the other threat. Could it be the thinner finish? (Matt black) The lack of clear coat might be one reason for this weirdness. (Resulting in the bridge being lower/closer too the wood than usual?)
My best advice ( coming from someone with 30+ yrs of composite experience ) is find a guitar tech who has worked with /on CF necks . I used to own an Alembic , and the nut on it was adjustable , well if it was all the way down it could only go up . I wish at times that I had that on a couple of my basses .
I agree with the above, something is not right if you have the saddles jacked all the way up and it's still buzzing from the first to twelfth. To me this says forward bow which could be caused by a number of issues if the "truss rod" is in the neutral position, but it's hard to diagnose without the instrument in front of me. Be safe and take it to a tech who knows about CF as stated above. I know how much you love that bass and I would hate to see you inadvertently make things worse.
It's really hope that there is nothing serious going on. I bought this bass brand new and have been taking extremely good care for it. When I took the old strings off, I heard some snaps and cracks that were relatively loud. I thought that it was the wood just loosening up since the tension was loosing but could it be something else in the neck maybe?
The dual truss rods tighten in both directions. Turn the nut to the left until it tightens. Wait a day or two and you should be okay.
I have to say that it has gotten better than last night. I'll be going on vacation for a week and check back on it when I get back. Fingers crossed!
Also, loosen each string until it's floppy, and then retune it. Do them one at a time, and you effectively "work" the stresses and strain into the length of the neck.
It should be said that I was never taught this, but through my own personal experience finds that it really shortens the time required for a neck to set. I do it around three times with a good playing session in between. Good luck!

I have heard that if you adjust the neck , you have to wait a while for it to take effect ( unlike a wood neck ) also small adjustments work best as opposed to a Huge adjustment .
