Modulus Mob

On the back of the triple stand...A Vantage? I had one too; it was my first bass. Paid $300 for it back in about '83. Sold it, but sentimentally speaking I wish I still had it. Weighs a ton, no?

M92 sportin Lane Poors... sorry that the photo has the Mod hanging with some questionable company

Did you know that there is an option for a mid switch ?
There isn't much modulus with switchable mids around here... I order mine with one :)

Is it a frequency center selector similar to what Roscoe offers? I just had a VERY brief affair with a Roscoe LG3005 fretless (owned it three weeks) and it had a super nice 300/800 push-pull selector in the mid sweep. The NTMB preamp looked otherwise the same. So, I am guessing maybe it could beadded to most any Bart rig.

Mine has a 3 way mid switch on the 3-band Bart-
I think it's 1000/500/250, and my MTD is 850/500/250? I donno. :)
I just know what "clicked" position gives me the mid detent I want.

What does it look like?

Also, while we are at it, what is the mini-pot inside the back of my fretless? Is it a preamp gain trim or something else?

Sorry, I haven't noodled with it as of yet.

The switch or the actual preamp itself?

It probably is the preamp gain, if it's a little white pot that fits a small flathead screwdriver.

250/500/1000 is the MTD "version" (just a diferent capacitor value on the switch itself).
850 is for the std Bartolini version.

If someone want i've a prewired Bartolini Mid pushpull pot (250-850), never used...

Please tell me if anyone knows? Their web site is still gone:hyper::eek:
Geez, seems there are a lot of stories of people not reaching them. They answered the first time I called, makes me feel lucky.
Out of curiosity is it 415.884.2300 that you're dialing? Maybe try their vendor # 866.663.8587 Unless they're in the process of moving again I don't see why you can't reach someone. That sucks!
