Great, congrats. What town do you live in near Philly, anywhere near Villanova?
Rare because they were only offered a short time before closing up shop a few years ago. You can get it as an upgrade now as i understand it.

I live a bit further out - in New Hanover, PA (the edge of Montgomery County - we're just barely considered a suburb of Philly).

yup lanes on the trans black / with an audere 4 band preamp - dont think ill ever part with that one
and correct! scored that one on reverb, extremely fair price. needed a little love though

ebony - just with some light double stick tape. had a woodworker friend of mine make it for me
had gotten very used to the "Turbo" model with closer pickup placement.
There is a nice green Q5 on the bay right now in "auction " starting under a grand . Don't know if it has a case , it's from some shop in Nashville .
That one was up before. Buyer must have flaked- it finished at $2130. That's a pawn shop bass right there.

So I finally got around to opening up my newly acquired moddy the other day. (The one with the terribly placed extra pickups. And found the other half of that Emg p5... Hanging out underneath the pickguard smushed amongst the lovely wiring job the previous owner did.
