Pulled the trigger on this Q5 last night, being shipped tomorrow. Decided to forgo the Chechen fingerboard.
Congrats man! I love coming home after a long day at work to see some Modulus porn.... Enjoy her.
Please don't take this the wrong way, but would you consider swapping the hardware to black? I think it would rule!
That's not KLD just a plain weave carbon fabric.He does, though its much different than the Quantum currently on the 'Bay. Both are damn cool IMO.
Hmm. interesting conundrum... Black or Gold?? Anyone have any example of a Gold/Amber/Yellowish type of Moddy with Black hardware? That could look really good and I have a Silver Burst with Black and a Amber Quilt with Gold that would look pretty darned good with all the hardware swapped..
Just my opinion, to each his own. I think the black hardware would look great with the body. Either way it's a winner!

also, modulus is proving to be terrible at social media. its like they are dead again. booooo
The kld tops were a one off that they did maybe 10 of, from what I've read. They only did it once. They are rare as hens teeth hence the price. But I wouldn't pay it.

It seems TB has an automatic censor when it comes to standard swear words. It can be pretty funny sometimes.

Although to be fair, the paint on the 2tek bridge has been totally worn off over the years. I thought about trying to paint it black again but I have no idea what paint to use. Any suggestions?
KLD tops were an option for like a year. think it was a 400 dollar upgrade. They should really push that IMO. sets them apart from other brands in a big way

So if any of y'all are interested, of course you guys in the mob can get the first crack. The sunburst vj4 is fretless and will be the first to go. It also has the most stunning finish I've ever seen, the pic barely does it justice. I'll give any mob members an extra nice price on it if you're interested. The turbo (the Pegasus of my basses) is still a maybe, but in all honesty I'll probably have to sell it if I make this deal. Pm me if you are interested in either one, first come first serve. The fretless is available immediately if someone wants it.
