Wow, yeah... Definitely falls under the category of What To Get The Bassist Who Already Has Everything. But if I already had everything -- including a TBX 6-string and a TBX 5-string -- then I would jump on this beauty, price be damned.

hahaha...whats funny is I juuuust put my TBX 5 that is exactly like this one back on reverb for $8999.99 the other day. The reason i put it up there for so high was sort of as a placeholder as I have no intention to sell it but if someone really wants to give me 9k for it, then OK!

Part of me would love to have the 4 string to match mine but LOL @ 9k

Lol, that price though. And that's the STARTING bid!:roflmao:

I could see $3500, but you can get new TBX's for the price of this old one on ebay, granted they don't sell the 4-bangers for some inane reason. I don't think it's worth owning for that price.

Quick question for the Mob: has anyone else noticed that there are a few basses out there produced from 2014-2016 that have the Modulus logo on the headstock printed in a different, bolder / non-italicized font? For example:



Every time I see one come up I think it's a fake, but even Planet Bass has a few available with this variation. I don't get it, because the majority of the 2014-2016 basses I've seen have the normal font that has been used for years. What gives?

Hey guy,
I had bought a bit back a new wide spaced 5 bridge for a Q5 wide or a Q6 to covert it to a wide five. However, it just hasnt happened yet. So I have a wide spaced 5 bridge in black and a blank graphite nut for anyone who has a Q6 and wants to convert it or a wide 5 and wants a black bridge. I would like to simply passing it along to someone in the here in the MOB for simply what I paid. I am going to make a listing but I wanted to give everyone here first dibs. If you are interested just PM and I can offer you a great price on the two or one whichever you prefer. Thanks to all.

Agreed- there's that VJ4 with the quilted top on the 'bay that is tempting me, but only one bass on the cc at a time... being a responsible adult is hard ;)

Building my modulus funk copy atm, so question and favor for funk owners. I know that officially it's 34" scale, but comparing and measureing pictures with other basses, and with 22frets I see funk being 35"scale instrument. Can somebody who onwns it, measure the scale for me please!

These are 34" scale for sure - I have the 5 string and the 4s are the same scale
