What do you guys think about the sweet spot modulus vs the standard 2 pickup mods? Anyone have experience with both and the sound differences you experienced?
I have owned both. If you want versatility, you want the dual pickups, not the ss. The ss gives a good tone but only one sound, really. Sometimes it gets lost in a mix. The standard quantum is as versatile as a jazz bass with active eq. But it has the dual coil sound instead of a single coil sound. Very fat. What do you guys think about the sweet spot modulus vs the standard 2 pickup mods? Anyone have experience with both and the sound differences you experienced?

i had a flea/f.u. neck a couple of years ago. it was a fiver. no buyers tho. traded it away locally.Still hunting the neck, looks like its gona be status, as modulus necks are nearly impossible to get these days. Will use obp1 with lane poor 18v. Blue spark or flat black like flea has!
a lane poor mm thru an aggie pre should shake mountains.
Yea i enjoyed how the lane poor LEGACY is rare and hard to find.Guessing this guy thinks that too
