Modulus Mob

Hi, can I join. Just got this off a fellow TB. '05 G5....

Thanks for the compliment! These are my only basses. I am playing the Genesis the most because I recently fell in love with the single coil sound all over again! I just replaced the pickups and preamp in the Q5, but I'm not loving the pickups, hoping to replace them in the future. They are from the Bartolini classic series, and are a bit too tame for me right now.

I love the feel of the G5, tone wise; love that too.

Well folks. After parting with my Q5s last year, I've had nothing but regret since. I have gone though seven basses since then and been left wanting.

After three Fenders, an SR5, another Roscoe and TWO NYC Sadowsky fives, I have finally given up and decided to come home. One Sadowsky hit the truck two days ago and the other is out the door within a couple of days.

If all goes as planned, I should have another beloved Q5 in my hands by the end of next week. I am so excited. I should have known. I haven't kept any other bass for more than a year, and I kept my fretted Q5 for almost 10!!! I spent an awful lot of money just to learn how good I already had it!!

The one that is coming has the Aguilar pre with Barts. My other two Q5w and my Genesis had Bart pres. I'll drop some pics when I get it.
