Montreal-area pedal addicts

This thread should benefit from a few board pics, so here's my latest:

Some behind-the-board stuff:
I'm really pulling the most out of this GPT Gator board. I've got the IsoBrick and fDeck velcroed'n'ductaped on the higher left and right sides. I drilled holes here and there on the board, to let some wires through. I also added rubber feet to boost its height.

I still have an 18v outlet available on the IsoBrick and some space on the board. I also have the option of powering the LS-2 from the Tuner, which would liberate a 9v outlet. I thought I could juice the comp with the 18v, but MXR does not recommend doing that. I don't have needs or plans for another pedal at this time, but this could change, of course.

And this board totally respects my board philosophies and pet peeves (you guys must think Bassmike's a little bananas about his board... I am):
  • simple dry chain (fdeck > tuner > comp > preamp > amp);
  • fx out of the main chain and located on the lower part for easy access;
  • no upside-down or sideways pedals.

My current setup. I downsized quite a bit earlier this year. I sold all my Spaceman pedals and decided to keep only the PT-Pro and a PT-2. Then I went back to a PT-Pro and my 20*30 Ikea Pedalbjord. I really don't want to go back to three pedalboards. I added more pedals for sure, but the days of having 120-150 pedals are long gone, for now at least. Hopefully, I will end the year with no more than like 100. I have some stuff under the boards as well (Lehle Filter, mThump, Buffers, etc.).

I'm from Montreal originally, and a bit of a pedal junkie to boot :D. I live abroad now, in South Korea but have still managed to find musicians to play with. I also have a solo bass looping and poetry project for which I use this pedal board. I recently picked up the EHX 22500 and really like it :thumbsup:. IMG_2068.JPG

Yeah, I just heard. I've got something on the way from Saturnworks, hopefully it'll get here before Kingdom Come.

BTW, the nice folks at Long McQuade Laval did a nice little set-up nip & tuck on my Jazz during lunch hour today and didn't even charge me for it. I hang out there once every other week or so and buy there quite often, so they know me, but still, I was impressed. To thank them in my own way, I bought a nice tortoise pickguard for the bass.

Salut tout le monde! Charles here from Mtl! Not a pedal junkie but I was a real Mutron fan more then a decade ago (Biphase, Octaver, Mutron III). Lost all those pedals and want direct for more then 15 years.

But I started a Peter Gabriel tribute a couple of years ago and had to get me some stuff. But at some point, I just lost control...Not in a Nshuman kind of way, mind you...just a slight control loss. I'll get some pics to show where I'm at right now.

Glad to see Montrealers on TB!!

DAMNIT! I have to go to Moog to get something repaired on my PJB suitcase amp. This could potentially be costly pedal wise. I'll try and not look at the walls while I am there.
