Moogerfoogers Discontinued

I assume they have something in the works. Its a bit of a drag to see the MF line go away, but Im looking forward to seeing what the good folks at Moog come up with next.

Very true. When they have discontinued various synths, they have introduced a new model shortly thereafter. Nice features would be presets and midi control. But we will have to wait and see.

Instead of the sweep being trigger by the input a separate signal to trigger the filter

You can mod the older through hole low pass filter for this. I have done it to mine and it works great!

If a new Moog stand alone filter were to be released, I'd love to see it be multimode (add band and hi pass) and have a looping ADSR envelope triggered control option. Of course the envelope and gate would need to be CV outs.

Not likely to happen, given the news.

They have a wide product offering currently - including a suite of modular that is selling well. I'm not surprised 'foogers have gone the way of the dodo. I don't like it, but not surprised given the wide product offering of pedals in the market, and the size / weight of their product. They along with the Mini series seemed like more hassle than good for them to make.

Do you have documented proof of this claim?

This is an observation of a fact, not to be confused with a political post:

They sent an email to subscribers indicating that the 25% tax would shut them down, or force them to move all production to China to avoid the tarrifs. Attached to that was a plea to customers to sign a petetion against the tax, citing that it would contradict the "buy US product" that is touted by the same government forcing taxes.

There is nothing to link the two events directly, but from the outside, this is one of many hypothetically derrived conclusions.
