Moon or Momose jazz bass?

Im looking at getting a 5 string jazz and I have narrowed it down to 2 options a moon jb 5 ox or a momose mj 5, obviously one is active and one is passive but are there any other huge differences. I do not have the opportunity to play one beforehand so Im curious if anyone has played both and can explain the differences well. Fyi this bass needs to do alot of things for me from straight ahead jazz to fusion to death metal to disco and funk so I will probably end up going with whichever option is more versatile.

Played one Moon J-Bass, I think it was MIJ. Great quality bass.
It was passive and have rather bright sounding pups.

Overall it was very bright, but no anemic. Probably good for metal genres, cause it will cut through mix like a knife.

great, extremely well made you can tell the care that went into it. It sounds vintage yet somewhat clear and sparkly at the same time, it is hard to describe I think you just need to try one. I really really like it.

FWIW I think your description applies to a Moon as well. I had a couple. You couldn’t make a bad choice. Enjoy your new bass!
