That is a gorgeous melt on what will definitely be a gorgeous bass. Can you give us any more specs on it? Scale length, electronics, neck radius, etc.

I recommend checking in to Head Guitars. Jeff is the consumate luthier... affable, accountable, reliable, and capable. I can say designing this bass with Jeff has been a pleasure. We are currently designing an 8 string guitar and will design a stick bass in 3-6 months.
Jeff's pricing is on an individual basis, I think. I can say he is probably the most reasonable luthier out there... not Wishbass affordable, but you're getting more for your dollar with Head Guitars than 99.99% of builders out there. This may not last long, as Jeff's guitars are making a name for his company and rightfully so... he is the man, he can build anything you can imagine, and he is a great guy.
Any questions, drop a line to Jeff and get yourself a bass/guitar of your own design... whatever you want... now that's what I'm talking about!
If that's a fanned fret design, why are the pickups straight? Wouldn't that cause uneven sound across the strings?
