Morley M2 Cliff Burton Fuzz Wah

Maybe I'm not understanding you correctly, but the Morley Dual Bass Wah (PBA-2) is a switchless wah. Step on the treadle and the wah turns on, let go of the treadle and the wah turns off. If the Cliff Burton jobber functions in a similar way I will be happy. It it functions like the older Distortion Wah Volume pedals I will not be happy.

It appears to emulate the old one in design, sound, and functionality. Here are some side-by-side reference photos:

The reissue is set up similarly to the old one. That means it will not be switchless.

The left switch appears to be for turning the fuzz on and off, just like the original. The right switch is set up just like on the old one - which means it will either turn the wah on and off, or it will switch the wah between volume and wah modes like the old one did.

Modern aesthetics and improvements aside, The one entirely new feature I see on the reissue is the the little vintage/modern flip switch. Since the tone knob is absent in the reissue, I imagine the flip switch controls the tone of the fuzz.

i have already been playing this one! its a great pedal but as someone said it sucks with all the on off switches! i would like to have everything ON when a use the wahwah pedal/"arm"!
its maby a easy fix if you are a handyman?
if you live in san Francisco you can go to Audio Images, the building under the coca cola sign. He (jim) could have one! well he has everything else with cliff so! i have try the fuzz wahwah and the big muff with the Japanese aria pro cliff b. bass there! it was a dream experience for sure! i was there this summer!

All of the prior questions answered:
Yes, it runs on standard 9V
It sounds very close to the original
No, it's doesn't do a volume feature, as well
The only downside I see is that if you run it as a lone fuzz but want to use wah with it as well, there's a bit of a balancing act to do. If you have the fuzz set at a certain volume, the output will drop when the way is engaged. The other way around should be fine. Sorry for this Macbook shot quicky because it's easy to overload the internal mic:

Where did you order yours from? I'm still trying to get my local Morley dealer to figure out how to order one, Morley's Canuk distributor didn't have any info this pedal for them to place an order.

Sounds like a much narrower Q than my PWB - is there a control for that?

Reminds me more of a Crybaby than a Power Wah.

I put in an order through Sam Ash. I work as a teacher there. Tell you dealer to put in the model number as "PFW." They're ready to ship now.

I had it down about halfway and it has a MUCH wider sweep on tap. It sounds nothing like a Crybaby: I have this, a 105Q, and a 535Q.
