Morley M2 Cliff Burton Fuzz Wah

does it bypass when you step off of the pedal like the bad-horsie pedal or does it have to be switched?
With the treadle all the way up/heel fully down can you tell a difference in the tone as if the filter is on once switched on? How would you compare the sound of the filter compared to the Dual Bass Wah with any other type of fuzz? Say a Dual Bass Wah paired with a Diabolik compared to the Cliff Signature Fuzz and Wah? D
I've only played the Dual Bass Wah a couple of times and I wasn't really fond of it, personally. The tone does get bassier once you switch it on, but not as much as the dual bass wah.
how does it compare to the 105q? i'm going to get this, but i'm not a fan on fan of cliff wah tone.
also, is the wah available for a limited time only or is morley keeping it in stock?

The 105Q I'm more focused in the midrange and has more bottom end to it, while the Morley has a much more trebly sweep to it. I'll be holding on to both, as the 105Q is much better for groove playing in a band context. For crazy solo sweeps, it'll be the Morley.
is their any lowend lose? is their a way to make the cliff wah more bassy? what's the differences between modern and vintage mode?
Mine was an employee cost comp, but I believe they're in the vicinity of $149.
I called Morley and asked when they'd be available and the rep said he had a few ready to go. They are already in production, for sure.

Keep trying but last I checked they didn't have ordering details for it from their distributor yet. I emailed the Canadian distributor and asked if they got ordering info from Morley yet. Morley told me sometime after the 22nd all their dealers would have info on ordering it so hopefully soon.

Sounds like you have the signalpath reversed, should be bass - Morley - Big Muff for Cliff sounds and for the best effect you should use a Boss CS-1 between the bass and the Morley.
These clips do sound more like the modern Morley's to me, if they do you can forget about the above mentioned signalpath. The newer ones don't handle that well (they do sound awesome with the fuzz before the wah though, great newsted style wah sound)
Btw: The Fuzz from the original Tel ray PWF doesn't sound anything close to Cliffs sound, I doubt he ever used it. (the Fuzz function) Also there are a lot that say he used the PWB (apparently backed up by pics)
I have both and they are great for the Cliff sounds, I currently use the PWF:
(the Classic wah is for Jason sounds)
