Morley M2 Cliff Burton Fuzz Wah

I don't understand it either!!!! To anyone that hates on newsted, listen to "doomsday for the deceiver", I'm not a pick player, but he does some badass shredding, and he was upfront and present in the mix, where he should've been on " And justice for all..."!!

I think that posted clip of Call of Ctulu with "Newsted's" bass is a hack. I think someone is having some internet fun.

Sam-Ash told me it was going to be 3-5 weeks before they got the Cliff Burton sig wah in and that was about 3 weeks ago. I hope it comes soon! I'm already thinking of ways I want to use it on songs in the band I play in.

Yeah. And its buried in the chorus of Seek And Destroy. For real. Listen close.
No need to listen close, the bassline is on YouTube:

Also I don't think he used it on Ktulu, that's all Wah/Fuzz.

I don't think he used the Bassballs in Metallica, I tried one and couldn't find a good use for it in our 'tallica tribute... (if he did use it, its most likely in the intro for "Damage Inc.)

For the Jason haters: This is gdamn tight:

I posted earlier. Lars and James are cocky...they wouldn't let someone who couldn't play well in their band. Newsted is a good player. Flotsam and Jetsam rule! Saw Voivod over the weekend. Did Newsted help write any of their newer material or only perform live?

I just called Sam-Ash because I needed to give them new info on my email for shipment updates. I've always thought they had great service. The fuzz/wah shipped today and should be here tomorrow. Yay! They must be going fast because I checked their website and the pedal is not listed as being in stock.

Out for delivery! Really fast shipping from Cali to the Bronx.

I don't have an original, but ilk probably compare it to the other ways in my house, which include some newer more keys, Crybaby's, and the 2 amt mini wahs.

Maybe I can get to a video, but audio is more likely

I just got to play mine through my studio monitors. I will have to wait for practice to play it cranked. I love the sound though. Going to try it with the Diabolik as the fuzz soon. ;-)

since you already have this, do you have to engage/disengage both switches, or does the wah switch turn the fuzz on?? I ask cuz they finally put this on the Morley site but the instruction manual is for the "bad horsie" for some reason, all the clips are just an employee describing it!!(boo!!)

Im thinking of putting this in a loop/switcher so I don't have to click 2 switches to get that sound then use wah(one less, I know, big difference right!!), then hit it 2 to shut it off, I can see this as a major distraction from playing

I picked mine up from FedEx yesterday. It's essentially two pedals in one housing. You have to switch each effect on and off. When the wah is toe-up it still affects your tone, but only slightly. It's more noticeable when you have the fuzz on as it sort of smooths out the fuzz.

Cool, I was kinda worried after I ordered it, thinking to myself I might need to get another LS2 to engage this without stepping on 3 things, I definitely experienced buyers remorse yesterday as I am trying to save for a new amp... So maybe just the fuzz switch?? I've loved cliff's solo sound since I can remember and especially what he did (bass playing-wise)on RTL and MOP, so this will not be an always on thing!!! I should get mine in a week or so....

I found a few clips of this on YouTube, I can't post a link on my phone, bug the 1st one I saw I assumed was the new pedal, so I asked what settings the guy used cuz it was spot on....turns out I didn't notice it was from a year ago, so it was recorded with the original pedal, he responded saying that he tried the new reissue and found it doesn't have the same range as the older one, but in the clips of new one it sounds close so I'll just wait and see how I like it!!

The LS2 wouldn't do any good. You'd have to step in the LS2 instead of stepping on the wah or fuzz button.

what I'm saying is if I want instant fuzz/wah sound I switch the ls2 on then go to town on wah, so one less switch, unless it really doesn't color your tone alot with wah always on, then it doesn't matter, like i said i have to see for myself, am I making sense to you??
