Most aggresive passive P pickups.

Hi!
I have a passive double P pickup configuration bass with Seymour Duncan SPB-3.
I find they are great pickups, but I'm looking for something more aggresive like the...DiMarzio DP146?

I have found that Dimarzio pickups, in general are more argressive than SDs.

whether they are the most, I don't know.

Dimarzio Will Powers (Billy Sheehan Sigs).
I have them in my old beat up yamaha and the thing is loud and agressive.

To my ear, G&L is the big bully of basses, and that's mostly due to their pickups. Those MFD's are like nothing else.

DiMarzio comes in a close second with their Model J and Model P.

I have a G&L SB-2 and used a DiMarzio Model P for awhile in my Precision, and I agree. The DiMarzio is almost as aggressive as the G&L MFD split-coil, and sounds similar in many ways, but doesn't have the vintage grit and warmth of the G&L. I ditched the DiMarzio, but love the G&L MFD.
