For a mass produced model from a large company, I think this Ibanez is pretty elegant...

I agree that the Stanley Clarke signature is pretty elegant... even with the more crowded Series II electronics... like in this pic

This is the BOMB!!, Just beautiful. All the dimensions, symmetry etc are perfect. tres elegance.
I'm sorry, but the Foderas and Zons are a little awkward looking and the headstocks too big, or something, especially the Anthony Jackson Fodera above with the giant hump over the fretboard (my truck with a trailer could U-turn on that). Sorry, but I even prefer my P basses to those.:ninja:

Those single cut designs are a perfect example of form follows function. I used to think they were butt-ugly too, but for some reason they just grew and grew on me to the point where I love the looks, and have now ordered my own single-cut bass.
