I have a friend who was touring the Motown museum last weekend and ran into the gathering for Bass Day 2022. Fifty six bassists showed up. Wish I could have been there!

Looks like Jazz basses are very popular.
Fenders, Sires, Squiers, BassMods, Lakland , Warwick , and 1 Fodera and 1 upright I spotted.
I didn't notice any StingRay basses.
I see Max Proud with his Fender Precision .

I was hoping there would be a TB'er who recognized someone - very cool!
I also saw another upright, plus an EUB, a couple of Sadowsky's, and a Lakland. Also possibly a left-handed Ken Smith.

So Anyway, everyone should make the trip to the Motown Museum. There's a lot to see, and when I went, you could even stand in The Pit where the magic happened. I hope that's still allowed.
