Mounting ears : Finding the right screw size for pre-drilled holes

Be VERY careful with the length, especially on the right hand side.

Absolutely correct. I bought a set of generic rack screws beforehand and attempted an install; one of the right hand side screws went in about halfway until it stopped. I opened up the lid and sure enough there was a circuit board passing edge-on RIGHT in front of the hole only a few mm away. The screws were too long...

Anyway, got the right sized screws from Aguilar and all is good now, head is in the rack. :)

I can't emphasize this enough. I see enough damage done my stuff like this, which is easily avoided (along with the cost of repair).
