MPulse 600 and Ampeg 810

not played the mesa, but a sealed 810 and ss head can sound pretty righteous. i'd rather have toobz but i don't mind it at all when i see a 4 pro on top of an 810 for my supplied backline.

I thought the M-Pulse 600 was a hybrid head (tube in pre with solid state power amp).

It is a hybrid - and a "warm but clean" sounding one at that... My main gigging amp is an M-pulse 600, and I've played it through a couple of SVT810e cabs - it sounded really good, although a cab would have to be a real dog to not sound good with this amp... It REALLY kicks ass with my PH810...

hi, what rack, if any, are you using with your MPULSE 600?

I missed this post earlier - my M-pulse 600 is in an SKB 4U ATA rackcase, with an XDR-95 wireless receiver, and a DTR-2000 tuner, with a Belkin surge strip...
