Congrats on the new MTD, Mike! Easy to imagine how that thing sounds, especially conveying your chops. Bet it's awesome.

Brad,
I definitely agree. I am considering it because they are so wonderful. It's just there are many things to spend 100 on - including my family, food for the table, a snowblower, Christmas/Chanukah presents (for someone other than myself), and on and on. Please note that I am not trying to knock, on the other hand, I truly think they are wonderful. I was even asking Mike T. which ones he thought wouold look good on the fretted 435. I am just having trouble pulling the trigger.

It was just an observation, Mike
I can understand the need to spend responsibly and $100 is a lot of money for knobs. I'd have trouble pulling that trigger too
Happy Holidays to you and yours.

Dang, you guys make me regret selling my MTD. Oh well, it was for a good reason. My wife bought for me a R bass 5 to replace the 535. She said "I want you to find something that you will play". Then she says "I want you to keep the MTD, cause you love it". So then I had 2 outstanding fretted 5 strings, which actually turned out to be a curse instead of a blessing. The MTD sat in its case, and that was a little too much for me to take.
Anyways, so Chris A is the owner now. He hasn't chimed in, but this was my favorite MTD of the bunch.
Don't worry, life is not bad. Just got my Rob Allen fretless 5 today, so that and the R bass will be joined by a Nordstrand SC 6 in the summer. Tough life, i know.
