Muse sounds????

Im running my bass through a boss Superoctave ( OC-3) and a big muff. How can I get that tone that Chris does when theyre playing live? For example, in reading in 2006, his bass sound like it has a clean tone over it!? How can I do this? pleeeaassee help :hmm: (my amp is an ashdown eb 180, with this effect send/recieve thingy aswell as a passive and active input)...

don't use the effect send/receive thingy

get a blender pedal thingy (BOSS LS-2 for example)... blending clean signal with effected signal

search this forum thingy for about hundreds threads on Chris' tone and what effects he uses/used. ;)

Welcome to Talkbass. :)

see if you can find a Boss LS-2...used.

If you don't feel we've answered your question yet, PM me your address. I'll buy you an LS-2, send it to you, and then come down to your house and set it up so you sound like Chris Wolstenholme.
