Music Man StingRay Club | PART FIVE

Having owned plenty of NT and BO style basses for me, beyond their aesthetics, I am not so moved by a NT anymore. And for a company that has been more upfront about the inherent benefits of neck shimming, taking on that stigma/taboo head on, a NT is an interesting addition. They look great though.

Someone should get this at bassnw, before evil thoughts overwhelm me

Thought I'd repost this from my NBD post in case y'all missed it.
I'm a little late in posting because I've had these basses for about a month or so but today was the first day the sun was shining and I had the time to snap a couple of pics of my own.
I present to you my two new MM SR5's.
The first one is a one off (dare I say custom) SR5 HS in Lucky Gold, a color only offered on the BFR gold roller guitar. In addition to that it has a absolutely stunning, fully finished flamed maple neck. Perhaps the most beautiful bass I've ever laid my eyes on.
The second one is a 2014 (I think...) SR5 HH in natural with a full rosewood neck.
Enjoy the pics. These things play and sound just as good as they look.

Are you leaving us altogether or just selling one of your rays?
Oh no, just trying to sell one to fund another "P" style bass I have coming in. It's a tobacco shaded burst as well and since I am loving the DD1 this is the semi-odd duck to go. I never need that many basses at one time and want to try the true "P" thing, which I have never owned. If it sells I am good with that. If not there's no heartbreak because this is a real beauty and as near to new as I could get I think.
