Eno: Another Green World is awesome, great reminder.
Squarepusher: really good, didn't know the Ultravisitor record, I like what he does.
Zooma: another great reminder, thanks. So rad! JPJ is a god.
DFA = all over it, thanks.
Tortoise = have a bunch, there's some great music in that large body of work.
Morphine = have it all, love it all
Steve Lawson = it's a bit hard for me to love, as you might imagine. A little new-agey, but of a real quality that can't be denied. He's quite a composer, with a great sense of beauty. I kinda like what I've heard from "Grace & Gratitude", and that Blue Planet piece that was recommended is cool. He speaks through his music. Much respect to him.
Love Simon Jones w/ The Verve, "Slide Away" is great. I like that "No Come Down" comp a lot. He's pretty deep.
Les Claypool = I dig it, and his tone always gets me in a good way. Plus it always seems that he's just so "free". Excellent.
Michael Manring: Pretty f*&#ing EPIC. Surprised myself how much I liked him. This one piece called "When We Were Asleep in the Earth" really blows my wig back. Plus "Helios", wow. I guess that whole Soliloquy record is my fave thing from him I've heard so far.
Mingus: Into it, and diving deeper with some more great recommendations of things I wasn't familiar with, thank you! What's not to love?
Avishai Cohen: he's deep, man. Just getting into him.
Jimmy Haslip: bar none, my FAVE jazz/fusion bassist. Somehow I really feel with him that he means every note that goes by. Such passion. And FUNKY!
Jah Wobble: thank you, and all over it. Great recommendation for the "Spinner" record, pretty nice. Unexpected, actually.
Brokeback: gorgeous.
Fernando Huergo: Don't LOVE it, but the "Living These Times" record is pretty nutz, playing-wise. He's sure good. I like the song called "La Agonia del Rufian Melancólico".
Chris Squire: "Fish Out Of Water" Just incredible. WOW. What writing. Nice arrangements, too. "Silently Falling" will blow your mind.

There's way more I just haven't gotten to yet. THANK YOU SO MUCH everyone!

I got one for you, speaking of Chris Squire. Sparks: "Kimono My House". UN-FREAKING-BELIEVABLE. Check out one of my heroes Martin Gordon just destroying on there. What a player. I love this band.
